Alto Litigation and attorneys receive high-ranking distinctions from Benchmark Litigation

San Francisco, Calif. – October 8, 2020 - Benchmark Litigation, described as “the definitive guide to the market’s leading firms and lawyers,” has released its 2021 rankings widely recognizing the advocacy of Alto Litigation attorneys in multiple areas. 

Benchmark Litigation’s rigorous ranking process involves an analysis of law firms’ advocacy results, along with their review of feedback from law firm clients and peers.  For 2021,

  • Alto Litigation was once again ranked a Recommended Firm in California and a Tier 1 Firm in San Francisco in the area of Dispute Resolution. 

  • Founding partner Bahram Seyedin-Noor was recognized in Securities and General Commercial Litigation as a California Litigation Star and Local Litigation Star.

  • Partner Bryan Ketroser was recognized in Securities Litigation as a California Litigation Star, Local Litigation Star and for the 40 and Under Hot List.

  • Partner Ellen London was recognized as a California Future Star.

Bahram, a graduate of Harvard Law School, has tried cases before judges and juries in California and Delaware, and was a law clerk to Judge James Ware (Ret.) in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Bahram represents clients in a variety of matters, including securities class actions and derivative lawsuits, SEC investigations, trade secret disputes and complex commercial litigation.  Benchmark Litigation named him as its San Francisco “Attorney of the Year” in 2019. It also recognized Bahram as a “Benchmark California Star” in 2019.

Bryan, a graduate of Yale Law School, concentrates his practice on securities litigation, complex commercial litigation, and SEC investigations. He represents technology companies, entrepreneurs, officers, directors, employees and shareholders in high-stakes matters in California, Delaware, and other courts throughout the United States. Benchmark Litigation has named Bryan a “Benchmark California Star” and included Bryan in its “40 & Under Hot List.”

Ellen joined Alto Litigation in March of this year, having served as an Assistant United
States Attorney in the Civil Divisions for the Southern District of New York and the Northern District of California from 2010-2020. She has successfully litigated or settled multiple cases involving multi-million dollar resolutions, including being a member of the Bank of America FIRREA government trial team, multiple False Claims Act cases resulting in large recoveries for the government, and two significant tax cases.
